| Sulfonamides can cause hypersensitivity fatalities, Stevens-Johnson
syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, fulminant hepatic necrosis, agranulocytosis, aplastic anemia and other blood dyscrasias. |

| Contraindications | Low sodium and/or potassium serum levels, marked kidney or liver disease or dysfunction, adrenal gland failure, and hyperchloremic acidosis. In patients with cirrhosis, use may precipitate the development of hepatic encephalopathy. Hypersensitivity to any component of this product. |
