Usage Indicated for the short-term (up to two weeks) treatment of the signs and symptoms
of dry eye disease.
Prescribe and renew prescription only after biomicroscopic exam and iop evaluation.
Contraindications Most viral diseases of the cornea and conjunctiva including epithelial herpes simplex
keratitis, vaccinia, and varicella, mycobacterial and fungal disease. Hypersensitivity
to any of the ingredients of this preparation and to other corticosteroids.
Pediatric use Safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients have not been established.
Pregnancy Fetal malformations occur in rabbits with oral administration of 1.4 times the human ophthalmic dose.
Fungal and bacterial overgrowth, cataract formation, globe perforation possible with long term use.
0.01% BAK preserved. Remove contact lenses prior to instillation. Wait 15 minutes prior to reinsertion.
